Jason and Jaing were the heroes at the British League Premier weekend which saw DHS London Progress fight their way to the top of the table once again. London Progress found themselves 2-0 down against Ellenborough on Saturday but fought back to win 5-3. On Sunday we again found ourselves 4-1 down, this time against Drumchaple Glasgow, but with heroic determination, we clawed it back to 4-4 thus giving ourselves a one point lead at the top. A great weekend's work by Terry, Colum, Jason and Jiang and also by a recalled Marco Essomba who netted three wins out of four on the Saturday.

A special 'Thank You' is in order to all who provided food for the weekend, particularly Maggie, Abdul, Chico & Wendy, Henry and Anusha's parents. The club made a record £300 profit by the end of play. A special thanks also goes to Maggie and Wendy for their non stop catering efforts. Clearly, there is more to a successful TT club than simply winning games.

Jiang, proving himself every bit the professional at the weekend, is now available for one to one coaching for London Progress members @ £20 per hour most Sundays and some evening slots. Club training will commence this Thursday 6.30- 9.30 at Southall run by Jason & Jiang. One-to-one training with Jiang will commence this Friday & Saturday for London Progress Juniors free of charge.

Well done to Ashley Stokes, Ashley Hayes and Andrew Hagger for an excellent 6-3 away win against Vagabonds in the first match of the W&H League. Hagger was said to have played particularly well.
