The big news this week is the expected arrival of our second Chinese coach via our TTLinks/DHS partnership. Zhang Hong Ming has completed visa arrangements and is now ready to fly to the UK to join the very popular Jaing Zhi Tao and Fei Ming Tong. All three coaches are available for one-to-one coaching so just contact London Progress to book your slot. The very impressive Thursday evening junior training sessions, directed by Jason Sugrue, look set to get even better.

This week saw the Annual Table Tennis Tournament for young Ealing students with Disabilities and what a great day it was. London Progress, in partnership with Active Ealing, are becoming very experienced in hosting these tournaments and it appeared that every student went home feeling like a winner.

Another very successful partnership was in action last week when the London Progress Community Coach and Brentford FC Sports Trust rolled out the TT Networker leadership course for students at Villiers High School. This is the second year of this very popular course and the benefits to the students and London Progress are immediate.

On the junior front it was business as usual. Four London Progress teams were in action in the West London section of the National Junior League. Great performances were put in by James Han and George Lloyd in Division One, Eman Hussein, Karenvir Virk, Rumandeep Sahota and Marcus Giles in Division Two. Twenty-six teams competed in three divisions from across the Capital. Meanwhile top Progress female Cadet, Charleigh Kirby, was in action in the Cirencester One Star, where she finished equal top but took third in a point countback. Good stuff Charleigh!
The next junior event will be the West London section of the LJTTS at Southall this Sunday. Registration at 12 midday.
