Ryan Jenkins, the Commonwealth Gold Medalist and recent winner of the English Grand Prix circuit, has signed a one year contract to represent London Progress at next season's Grand Prix events.
Ryan, 26, has already coached at the club and has a great relationship with all the players and coaches there.
"It's an exciting time for me at present, and one that can only continue to prosper with the deal I have completed with the best club in the country. I like to be associated with winners," claimed the Welshman.
The deal will see Ryan wearing the Progress shirt at any opportunity and help coach the youngsters at the club when his commitments allow.
Unfortunately this does not stretch as far as him playing British league as Ryan plays in Switzerland, but maybe next season. "With the team they have at present I might not get a game anyway!". |
